Job … fell to the ground to worship. He said, “I came naked from my mother’s womb and I will be naked when I leave. The Lord gave me what I had, and the Lord has taken it away. Praise the name of the Lord!” In all of this, Job did not sin by blaming God. ~ Job 1:20-21 NLT
Have you ever felt as if Satan was targeting you? He can be relentless, it seems.
No doubt Job felt the same. Yet he praised God even then. Tragedies can cause us to doubt God’s love for us. But, as Job learned, if we never lose hope, we can turn tragedies into blessings.
God is here. He does care! And He loves us.
When you are exhausted and feel you can’t continue on, remember that the first step toward healing is to pour out all of your worries to the Lord.
Just like Job… Keep praying. Keep accepting. Keep others in your prayers.
So the Lord blessed Job in the second half of his life even more than in the beginning… ~ Job 42:12 NLT
