For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. ~ Psalm 91:11 (NIV)
It was a beautiful spring day. Clouds, wheat fields, sunshine, travelers moving as fast as they dared to, yet not so fast they held everybody up. Well, except for the little blue car.
Suddenly my friend who was driving, yelled and banged his hand over and over on the steering wheel. A small blue car had pulled out of his lane and was coming toward us, attempting to run side by side with our car and another car. My friend pulled quickly off the road, and it was a miracle when we realized the other cars had not crashed.
With a “thank you, Lord,” we kept going and arrived at our destination safely. It was then that we understood how truly blessed we had been — and how we had been protected by our Lord. He guards us in all our ways.
AMEN, LORD!!!!!!
I am truly thankful for my friend’s remarkable driving that day. I am thankful for all of those angels, who besought God in prayer for our safety. And I am thankful that God’s love extends to all people, no matter who they are or where we are.
Thank you, Lord, for being a loving God. One who not only protects us but extends salvation to us for eternity.
May God’s angels never sleep but keep us safe and protected, always and beyond.
Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? ~ Hebrews 1:14 (NIV)
