God called into existence light; and by separating the light from the darkness, He created the first day.

[Genesis 1:3-5]

This is the day the Lord has made!

After six days of creative work, God rested on the seventh day and called it the Sabbath Day. A holy and blessed day. [Exodus 20:8-11]

This is the day the Lord has made!

Each day the sun goes down and the sun comes up. Something we can count on because God told Noah after the flood that day and night will never cease. [Genesis 8:22]

This is the day the Lord has made.

God saw our unformed body before he wove each of us together. And He was there to hear our borning cry when our birth day arrived. [Psalm 139:13-15]

This is the day the Lord has made.

Each day God ordained for us was written in His book before any of them came to be. [Psalm 139:16] And He taught us to number those days so that we might gain a heart of wisdom. [Psalm 90:12]

This is the day the Lord has made.

And then one day, in the twinkling of an eye, we will leave our last day on earth behind as we enter eternity with our Lord. [1 Corinthians 15:51-52]

This is the day the Lord has made.

We know these things with certainty because of another day the Lord made. He made Easter. Resurrection Day. The Day Christ rose from the grave, conquering sin and death. The Day He gave eternal life to us all. His free gift, paid for with His blood.

This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24 NIV

Let us rejoice this Easter and be glad for every day the Lord gives us.

With Easter blessings to all ……
